Kevin Brown did not dominate, allowing 3 earned runs, 2 on solo home runs by C. Jones and McGriff. Alou doubled in the first allowing Renteria, Sheffield, and Conine to score. He also drove in Sheffield on a ground out in the third. Charles Johnson followed with a double scoring Bonilla (5-1 Marlins at that point). From that point, Brown, Cook, and Powell limited the Braves to 2 runs leading into Robb Nen’s perfect ninth.
