Marlins Sweep Tampa Bay

The Florida Marlins finally passed the .500 mark with a 6-4 victory over the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. The Marlins also swept a series for the first time this season. Ryan Dempster won his 7th game of the season and 4th in his last 5 starts depsite allowing four runs on nine hits. Down 4-0 in the 4th inning, Derrek Lee drove in John Mabry, Mike Redmond then doubled in Lee and Kevin Millar, cutting the lead to 4-3. In the 5th, Mike Lowell Doubled in Dave Berg. Millar then singled in Mabry and Lowell. Dempster then shutdown the Devil Rays until the 9th inning, when Antonio Alfonseca came in to earn his 14th save of the season.
