Would Marlins fans be upset if they lied and made no-trade promises to Heath Bell or John Buck?
OK for Buehrle to be upset but he didn’t sacrifice money to join the Marlins. If you want no trade clause, sign somewhere else for less.

Marlins already in PR nightmare so why not trade Giancarlo now? Rebuild the entire farm. Stanton never wanted to stay in Miami.
If Stanton always wanted to head back west, Marlins should try maximizing value now. What can we get from Dodgers, Angels, Padres or Giants?
