Now that we know that Fredi is back, the Marlins have offered contracts to all his staff except for pitching coach Mark Wiley and first base coach Andy Fox. Both have been offered other roles in the organization.
Good news for Marlins fans and pitchers. Mark Wiley is back as the team’s pitching coach. Wiley left the Marlins after the 2005 season, a season in which Dontrelle Willis nearly won the Cy Young Award. This may also signal the Marlins’ interest in keeping Dontrelle.
