We tried it a couple of years ago so it’s not surprising that the Marlins are interested in Jacque Jones, who was recently designate for assignment by the Detroit Tigers (who probably first acquired Jones because they heard the Marlins wanted him).

In the near term it may make sense but one Josh Willingham comes back do we really need Jones? He may hit .285 and give you 20 home runs but he is clearly declining. Check out his stats and tell us what you think.
