Marlins owner Jeffrey Loria confirmed that the team has agreed to a 13-year, $325,000,000 deal with slugger Giancarlo Stanton. The Marlins agreed to include both a player opt-out after 6 years and a no-trade clause which the current Marlins ownership refused to do in the past. Once signed, this will be the largest contract in North American professional sports.

The official announcement is expected on Wednesday.
