As is usually the case with apparel, it looks different on fabric then it does in a graphic. Give it time and see it in person.
As for orange – 2 other teams wear it and their fans are happy about it. Would it be better to have blue or black like most other teams?
The M logo on cap and jerseys way too big. Creates too much noise. Orange hem line on home and away jerseys would work better in black.

Where they could have improved execution is proportionality & restraint. Colorful accents would work better if smaller and more of a bezel.
Conceptually, the #Marlins have a good idea – modern strong colors and sans serif font. Different from any MLB team and controversial.
Remember, orange are alternate unis. Most alternate unis are either plain flat boring or funky. We are now on the funky list.
Having lived in towns where their MLB teams use orange, color really doesn’t bother me. A bit surprised by the comments I’m reading.
