The Miami Herald is reporting that the Marlins have agreed to a 2-year deal with 1B Garrett Jones. Jones, who was recently non-tendered by the Pirates, will ear $2.75MM in 2014 and $5MM in 2015. The 32 year old Jones hit .233 with 15 home runs with 51 RBIs last season. With Jones’ arrival, the Marlins are likely to accelerate Logan Morrison trade talk.
