Even before a single game was played at Marlins Park, fans expressed concerns about the parking situation on and around the former Orange Bowl site. After the first exhibitions at the park, the Marlins finally realized that they needed to do a better job explaining the options to fans. To address that, the Marlins have launched a page detailing all the parking options here.
As a public service, here is a summary of that info:
On-Site Parking
- Use of the on-site parking (4b garages and 6 surface lots highlighted in the image above) MUST be pre-purchased here.
- You cannot just show up before a game and claim a spot. The pre-sale is on a first-come-first-serve basis and will sellout, especially for the more popular games. Opening Day, for example, is already sold-out.

Off-Site Parking (AKA parking in the neighborhood)- Just as it was with the Orange Bowl, some local residents will be offering their driveways and lawns for game parking.
- The Marlins are not sponsoring, endorsing, or guaranteeing these kinds of spots so park at your own risk
- Check signs before you park on public streets as the Police may eliminate or limit street parking prior and during games

Off-Site Parking Lots- Located 0.7 miles north of the ballpark, Civic Center/Courthouse lot will make 500 designate spots available for $10
- Parking fee includes a free shuttle to the ballpark
Additional Off-Site Parking Lots

- The Marlins have arranged for an additional 3,000 parking spots at off-site
- The lots are within walking or shuttle ride distance of Marlins Park
- Detailed list here

Public Transportation – Metrorail- Both the Culmer and Civic Center Metrorail Stations are less than one mile from Marlins Park
