With the minor league seasons all but over, the Marlins are calling up their demoted Major Leaguers including Andrew Miller, Chris Volstad and Gaby Sanchez. Additionally, Brendan Donnelly was reactivated off the DL.
The Marlins have signed veteran reliever Brendan Donnelly and he should be available to pitch today. Donnelly recently opted out of his minor league deal with the Astros. The 38-year old has two world series rings (Angels 2002 and Boston 2007). To make room for Donnelly, Chris Leroux was put on the DL.
